I think it all sucks.. but i don't want to lose more energie to stuff we can't chance...
What I do want to tell SS: that the biggest "ebay" kind of website in Holland is offering Paypal
since last month ... -> 'New, pay with paypal!!!' <-

I also really don't believe SS when they say its scaring customers away, or customers does'nt
complete there order ...

Hope it will come back, I was use it a lot for buying in my own shop with my payouts ...

Any news on re-activation of Paypal?

I downgraded my shop to standard because of this payment issue ( which meant SS lost out on the money from my premium shop ) and I also note with interest that I have not sold a single Tshirt since paypal was deactivated !

I for one am very very disappointed to see paypal no longer offered as a payment method. I think the credit card payment method is error prone and restrictive and as for the altenative cash transfer forget about it. If I put myself in my customer's shoes would I even be bothered to complete an order? Will there be any efforts to overhaul the order process system in the future so that it is similar to the big online shops like amazon? I have no problem using a credit card there but find that the SS experience is not nearly as easy to use so you can imagine what customers think. And I know there will be people defending SS saying I should have a nicer separately hosted site with embedded / linked shop to ease the purchase process but I don't have the time to do that right now and really I think the order process should ultimately be down to SS.

The plans to reintroduce PayPal are actually under way Still there are some details to be cleared, yet and at this point I cannot say how soon this will be done...

In spite of my former opinion on this topic, I have to say I'm pleased to hear this. Especially because it should make shopping more accessible for younger age groups.
