10% price increase on all products in UK pounds

More specifically for the UK there is indeed a gap between GBP and EURO prices that we never closed. The GBP lost about 30% against the € over the last 4 years and hence still today product prices and print prices are lower in GBP than in EURO in most cases.

With the increasing value of the GBP vs EURO is this still going ahead?

Having that in mind I'd fear a situation when all european countries would reintroduce their own currency....

Your fear must be increasing significantly .... it's not far away.

Was there any communication by email about this? I have only just noticed the prices increases and am now going to have to sit and go through every single item to ensure that the prices don't looks as strange as they currently do. I don't remember the UK pound prices going down when the Euro went through a phase of being very strong against the pound a few years back , so why the change now?

Unfortunately I have just been informed that there was no mail communication on this before today. I am sorry we failed to provide this info to partners via e-mail in advance, this has been a case of internal communications problems.

As for the exchange rate between EURO and GBP, the Euro strongly gained in the years 2002-2004. Spreadshirt just started in 2002 and I am not sure when we introduced GBP as a currency, so I don't think this was relevant then.

EDIT: Well I think I was interpreting things not completely correctly here. When the EURO gained again against the GBP in 2008-2010 the UK prices shouldn't have gone down, but up, because we'd get less for a Pound with a gaining Euro. That is something we fetch up now.

Just had someone query the prices in my shop.

The men's sweatshirt is a ridiculous price now. £20.40 BEFORE adding a design, commision & postage. This is way overpriced, and I'm now going to consider pulling them from my shop, as the price is scaring people away.
